Remain Unshaken! :)

This morning, I reread about Hebrews 12:26-29. It really inspired me. It’s a very, very nice verse 🙂

Remain unshaken!<~ that the main lesson in this message.

There are temptations everywhere..yes. Even as we worship, there would always be a thing or two that would hinder us from fully worshipping God. Even we, as Christians, who have already built a relationship with Him are not exempted from the destruction of evil. In fact, they work harder to pull us down.

True worship. Focusing to God, praising and worshipping Him with all our being without allowing anything to stop us. Remain unshaken in whatever we do. Whenever, wherever. Staying strong and being able to resist temptation.. that’s what matters. In the end, all that were lost will be our gain, coz God will be there with a destroying fire, sweeping through the world. All that is unshaken will remain, witnessing and experiencing eternal happiness.

God loves His people, those who have great faith in Him. That’s why we must trust in Him in whatever situation we are in coz He will not let us down.

I genuinely hope, as we live our lives, day by day, we will devote everything to Him. We will remain unshaken coz our God is with us and there is no greater than Him.

” If our God is for us, then who could ever stop us? If our God is with us, what can stand against?”

[Hebrews 12:26-29]

” His voice shook the earth at that time, but now he has promised,”I will once more shake not only the earth but the heaven as well.” The words “once more” plainly show that the created things will be shaken and removed, so that the things that cannot be shaken will remain. Let us be thankful, then, because we receive a kingdom that cannot be shaken. Let us be grateful and worship God in a way that will please Him, with reverence and awe; because our God is indeed a destroying fire.”

Let us open our hearts and let God speak.

I hope that we will not just read this message but obey it and live it.

Equality is the key!

               Individuality. Differences. Discrimination.

               Look around you, what do you see? Everyone has his own individuality. We all have our differences, in different aspects. No man is exactly similar to another. We are unique in our own ways. However, men are created equal according to its likeness and image. Although we are all different, God wants the best for us. It’s up to us whether we would be prepared for us towards the fulfillment of the purpose of our existence.

Men and women are both created in God’s likeness and image, possessing the same attributes, yet, look around you and observe, why is the society giving more importance to men?

Can’t women do the things that men can? Yes, women can! To site a few, women can lift weight, handle pressure at the workplace, make major decisions, and can earn a living like men usually do. They are even capable of the things that men cannot even fathom. Pregnancy, conception, and giving birth to an infant are just a few. Given this comparison, Gender Discrimination in favor of men is highly unacceptable.

As we observe, discrimination is one of the biggest issues the world is going through. If we would reflect, everything would be solved with equality and respect! Equality is the key! W e must respect each other’s individuality and differences to make a better world.

Equality among mankind is manifested in various aspects. Some are created with fair skin, yet some have dark skin. Some have perfect features butsome don’t. Some are blessed with wealth and some are blessed with peace. One can’t have all of these. It’s always a balance of having this and not having that. God designed it this way, so that men(I’m talking about people in general now) would compliment one another because God created the universe and the world for people to enjoy life with one another. He did not create the world for only one man or woman, his word even commanded men to go forth, multiply and glorify God in verything they do. No one is better than the other.

Stand up! Dust off the Dirt! Try Again! :)

” Failures should not define us, It should teach us..”

(this quote really encouraged me…that’s why i’m inspired to write about it..)

Look. Observe. Reflect.  What do you see? Maybe in several years of existence, we already know that Life is not easy. Life is like a roller coaster.It is a long and winding road…whether we like it or not there will always be obstacles along the way.  We will always be hurt or discouraged at times. Imagine life without trials and obstacles…. wouldn’t it be so unchallenging? Trials, failures and difficulties mold us to be better and stronger individuals, these are God’s way of making us appreciate His blessings in our lives. Keep in mind that, everthing happens for a reason.. these things are what humble us. If God says NO now, it just means that there’s a better YES that lies ahead. Yes, of course, you want to control so everything happens in just the way you want it. But at the end of the day, we control nothing. -It’s all in God’s hands. -has always been and will always be. Recession is also a time of great opportunity. Time and time again success has its roots in failure, because failure knocks you down from top of the hill so you can then climb a mountain. Yes it’s unsettling, yes it’s scary. But this can be your greatest opportunity in life, – if you choose it. The recession has cleared the space of clutter, – think what have you always wanted to do but brushed aside from the top of your hill? Now is the time… If something does not go the way we want it to be, don’t be discouraged but instead learn from these failures. These failures should not let us down. We should not feel unimportant or feel like a loser if things do not go right. These failures help us become better and wiser, so that next time around, we will be confident about whatever challenge life may take us. Find time to pause and ask God about anything, we would receive His message in various ways. Make it a habit to consult God in everything you do or decide on. Always have a happy heart as you deal with life, surely you would make a positive impact on the people arround you. God is always with us in every step we make, in every laughter, in every grief, in every downfall and in every victory… He allows circumstances to make us stronger in faith and in spirit…. God must always be the focus of our lives. We will never be alone. We must not lose hope.  Stand up! Dust off the dirt! and try again…what’s important is we’ve done our part. Trust the rest in God’s hands! Have faith for there is nothing impossible with Him 🙂
